Chittenango Falls State Park is a 193-acre state park featuring a 167-foot waterfall that cascades over roughly 400-million-year-old bedrock. Cycle The Erie Canalway! Cycle a few miles or all 365! The Erie Canalway Trail between Albany and Buffalo is 87-percent off-road and suitable for all ages and abilities. The trail closely parallels both active and historic sections of the Erie Canal.
Verona Beach State Park, located on the eastern shore of Oneida Lake is perfect for picnickers, hikers, cyclists and beach goers alike. The lake, Black Creek, cattail marshes and bottomland hardwood swamps give Verona Beach one of the most diverse aquatic habitats in the Central Region, and well worth a hike on the "Woods and Wetland" nature trail.
